I believe Barb Rudicel is the very best in caring for the broodmare until the mare foals. So often the mare needs extra nutrition to maintain the mare and foal. I have had surrogate mares that have needed to be specially looked after because the embryo is a special foal in my breeding program. At foaling time, Barb has her video camera working so they can see if the mare is about to foal. After the foal is here, it is cared for and is nurtured to be able to lead and have all its hooves cleaned. A fine, healthy foal is the result of the Raintree program. Margaret Van Meter
